Welcome to Wernert Elementary School! We strive to make our school an excellent place to learn. We encourage staff, parents, and the community to work together to create a school community that enhances the educational experience for our students.
The theme at Wernert is "PAWS to Make A Difference." Pride, Attitude, Work Habits and Self-control are all factors that motivate students to focus on making positive choices for academic gains. The Wernert staff promotes an environment that encourages personal accountability and responsibility.
A special team of staff members has developed student activities, assemblies, and extra-curricular opportunities to enrich the educational programs offered at Wernert. Our goal is to provide a nurturing environment which places emphasis on the social, emotional, physical and intellectual needs of all students.
Teams of staff members, who are dedicated to continuous improvement, pursue plans to enhance the learning experiences at Wernert Elementary School. Valuing students, staff, parents, and the Wernert community, for their individual contributions to learning is essential in our pursuit of academic excellence.
