The Education Marketing Group (EMG) is comprised of volunteers organizing their efforts to provide broad-based marketing support for Washington Local Schools. The non-profit group meets at the Administration Building on Friday mornings at 7 a.m., approximately once every 4-6 weeks during the school year
The WLS' Business Association began as an EMG initiative. EMG envisioned the Business Association as a membership organization to promote the causes it works for, as well as a community link between school and industry.
EMG strongly supports Kids in Action (KIA), a district event that showcases student achievement. EMG donates funds to each school to purchase supplies for displays, as well as paying for advertisements to promote KIA.
